How Do You Bathe Your Baby?

Having a child gives you a unique chance to rediscover the pleasure and excitement of childhood. Although you cannot relive your life through your child, you can share in his delight as he explores the world

How to bathe your baby?

Your infant doesn't much bathing if you wash the diaper area thoroughly during diaper changes.
Two or three times a week during his first year is plenty. Bathing your baby frequently may dry out his skin.

Procedure of bathing?

  1. Fill the basin with 5 cm of water that feels warm.

  2. Once you have undressed your baby, place him in the water immediately so he doesn't get chilled.

  3. Use one of your hands to support his head and the other to guide him in. speak to him encouragingly and gently lower the rest of his body until he is in the tub. Most of his body and face should be well above the water level for safety.

  4. Massage his scalp by soft cloth gently. When you rinse the shampoo from his head, cup your hand across his forehead so the suds run toward the sides, not into his eyes.

  5. If some soap runs into his eyes, simply take the wet washcloth and wipe his eyes with lukewarm water.

  6. Wash the rest of his body from top to down.

  7. Pay special attention to creases under the arms, behind the ears, and around the neck.
